    Product description

    RC: 2376 – Mercedes-Benz "G" class Passenger Cars.

    What are the defects?

The bolts securing the lower steering joint may not have been torqued correctly, over time this may result in wear to the steering joint causing a reduction of steering control. In the unlikely event of the complete failure of the joint steering control could be lost.

    What are the hazards?

This may result in an increased risk of injury to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

    What should consumers do?

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by direct mail. Owners will be requested to contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz dealership to arrange an inspection and repair of the vehicle.
