    Product description

    Mercedes-Benz "GLE" Passenger Cars

    Identifying features

    What are the defects?

The engine of affected vehicles may turn off when braking at a low speed (e.g. when braking for a traffic light).

Also, after an ECO start, the engine may turn off again if the vehicle is accelerated slowly under a high load.

    What are the hazards?

The vehicle will not restart automatically in these cases, but will have to be restarted manually instead, increasing the risk of an accident.

    What should consumers do?

Consumers should contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz dealer for an inspection and repair of the vehicle.

Further information about this recall can be obtained from any Mercedes-Benz dealership.
