Identifying featuresS49What are the defects?The electronic shift lever in the vehicle does not move like a conventional shifter and the driver may inadvertently fail to correctly engage the “PARK” position before exiting the vehicle if the engine is left running.

What are the hazards?If the vehicle isn't correctly engaged in the 'PARK' position it may roll away and potentially result in a crash and or injury to occupant or others.

What should consumers do?FCA Australia will notify vehicle owners who can take their vehicle to a Jeep dealership whereby the vehicle will have work conducted to safe guard against the possibility that the vehicle is not properly put into the “PARK” position.

Consumers should always check that their vehicle is in the PARK position and that the hand brake is applied before exiting the vehicle.

What are the defects?A pivot pin inside the twin buckle assembly for the right-hand rear and rear centre seatbelts may not have been assembled correctly and may translate sideways.

What are the hazards?Should the pivot pin translate sufficiently, the right-hand rear or rear centre seatbelt buckles may detach from their anchor plate. This may render the affected seatbelt unable to restrain an occupant, posing an increased risk of injury during a crash event.

What should consumers do?Holden will write to all affected customers to notify them of required action.

What are the defects?The recliner mechanisms fitted to the 2nd row (60% side, with left and centre seats) may not lock correctly when the seat back is placed into the upright position.
