What are the defects?
Vehicles are equipped with a brake booster that has a center shell, which may corrode over time and allow water to enter.
What are the hazards?
If water enters the centre shell it could freeze, minimizing the vehicle's braking ability and increasing the risk of a crash.
What should consumers do?
Chrysler will contact all affected owners to arrange inspection and, if necessary, repairs. This will be done free of charge.
